Dr. Robert Nations has been involved with healing and Traditional Chinese Medicine since 1983. He received his Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego and was on their faculty from 1997 - 2018. Since 2010, Dr. Nations has been a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in California. His postgraduate work was in canonical Chinese herbal medicine. He also trained and taught at the Taoist Sanctuary of
San Diego for 14 years while concurrently studying the Alexander Technique.
His studies of healing have included time in China, Senegal and France. In 2010, Robert was certified as the master trainer for the California Department of Public Health, teaching the Tai Chi Moving for Better Balance Program, for fall prevention in older adults.
Dr. Nations has been a faculty member with the Emeritus/Older Adult Program at SDCE since 2013 teaching Tai Chi and Qigong. He was a staff acupuncturist with Sharp Hospital in Coronado (2011-2013) and contracted with the University of California, San Diego Center for Integrative Medicine (2012-2018) as an educator and acupuncturist.
Marion is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a family practice emphasizing women's
health and pain management. She is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board. She is also certified as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In 2012, Marion earned a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM), from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. Her postgraduate training was in canonical Chinese herbal medicine, from the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM). In addition, she travelled to Lanzhou, China deepening her study of acupuncture and herbal medicine specializing in women's health.
Marion's natural medicine career has spanned over 20 years and has included homeopathy, in which she received her certificate from the Academy of Classical Homeopathy in Carlsbad, California. She also has received certifications in manual therapies and bio-energy healing from, Mueller College of Holistic studies in San Diego. Today, she uses East Asian Medicine to help families with their health and wellness. Her goal is to initiate and facilitate an individual’s natural power to heal and flourish.
